Summer Breeze is produced by the Central Mississippi Coalition of Chapters — a dynamic social-action group uniting Divine Nine fraternity and sorority chapters in Central Mississippi around scholarships, mentoring, and community service.
2026 marks the Fourth Installment of Summer Breeze — The Exclusive. More than 600 guests are expected. Every ticket funds scholarships, youth programs and social action programs through JPS Cares, St. Peter the Apostle, Chose to Grow, and the coalition's partnerships with Habitat for Humanity MS Capital Area and the Alvin Tolliver Scholarship Fund.

A scholarship initiative by the Central Mississippi Coalition of Chapters presented in partnership with Jackson Public Schools — dedicated exclusively to graduating seniors enrolled in JPS schools. A percentage of every Summer Breeze ticket and sponsorship dollar is earmarked for JPS Cares, funding multiple scholarships for the 2026–2027 school year totaling up to $5,000.
Recipients also receive mentorship, resources and a network of support beyond the award itself. The Coalition administers the program directly — developing the scholarship rubric, evaluating applications and presenting scholarship checks directly to selected JPS seniors.
Application details coming soon for JPS graduating seniors for school year 2026-2027
